Definition items

The following guidelines apply to all components.

• Create the component definition item using the View rendering template.
• Specify the path to the CSHTML file in the Path field (in the Data field section).
• Create a Parameters Template and reference it from the definition item’s Parameters Template field (in the Editor Options field section).
• List all placeholders defined in the CSHTML file in the definition item’s Place Holders field (in the Designer Options field section).
• Specify the default placeholder in the definition item’s Default Parameters field (in the Designer Options field section).
